History of the journal: " Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University Journal" was founded in 1998 in accordance with the needs of the Polissya region of Ukraine in a specialized scientific publication on pedagogical, philological, and philosophical disciplines, which would contribute to the development of science and the exchange of modern achievements in these scientific fields between researchers around Zhytomyr region and other regions of Ukraine.
Aim: the purpose of the journal is to highlight the results of fundamental and applied scientific research on current problems of education development in Ukraine and abroad.
Goals: publication of relevant scientific research in the field of education; combination of theoretical developments with practical activities through the dissemination of best practices and innovations; public testing and discussion of scientific results; stimulation of professional growth of young scientists through the possibility of publishing their scientific work; promotion of the implementation of pedagogical research results in the practice of educational institutions of various levels.
Studied problems: the journal publishes articles on the history of pedagogy; methodology of pedagogical research; current problems of preschool, general secondary, higher education, adult education, comparative, social and special pedagogy; social work; modern pedagogical technologies.
