Peculiarities of Research Activities Organization in the Process of Prospective Teachers' Vocational Training

Problem setting. The article highlights the basic mechanisms of development of prospective teachers' creativity by means of research activities, and it determines specific features of research activities organization in the process of vocational training of prospective teachers.
Methods. In order to meet objectives of the research, analysis and synthesis of empirical and theoretical foundations presented in the professional literature of various scientific fields (pedagogy, psychology, training methodology etc.) in works by national and foreign researchers were applied.
Research results. Analysis of psychological and educational literature made it possible to present basic mechanisms of development of prospective teachers' creativity by means of research activities, namely research activity within the educational process and extracurricular activities, scientific creativity, and extracurricular public events.
Conclusions. Peculiar features of the organization of research activities in terms of vocational training of prospective teachers were specified: a teacher takes into account students' skills and desires; innovative methods of teaching, creating an environment for students to realize their full potential. Students' participation in subject competitions and Olympiads can be investigated further.
