Main Characteristics of Computer-Oriented Learning Environment at the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education

The research deals with the urgent need for modernization of Continuing Education in Ukraine, in which a special role of the postgraduate pedagogical education is outlined. As the title implies the article describes such concepts as ''environment'', ''learning environment'', moreover the authors define the concept of ''computer- oriented learning environment of the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education''. The fact that it is a controlled constructed space, in which the teaching and learning process with the use of information and communication technologies and which created necessary and sufficient conditions for the participants on the effective implementation of the training of teachers is stressed. It is reported that pedagogically balanced selection of information and communication technologies are effectively used in the organization and conduct of teaching and learning process in the establishment of postgraduate education. It is spoken in detail about psycho-pedagogical conditions of management of the professional development of teachers; social conditions in institutions of postgraduate education; the relationship of students, academic and administrative staff of institutions of postgraduate education. It draws our attention to the features and components of clearly defined the computer-oriented learning environment of the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, isolated entities and the objects of its standardization process; the expediency development of computer-oriented learning environment.
