The article is devoted to the problem of natural history education of future primary school teachers. Based on the analysis of scientific literature considered the views of foreign and domestic thinkers and teachers on the importance of natural history in the education system. The main idea of the article is to reveal the place and role of natural history education in the system of professional training of future primary school teachers. The conclusions can be used in the organization ecology and lnatural history activity of students of pedagogical colleges, which will have a positive impact on improving the level of professional competence
