Abstract

In the article the context of general scientific skill category. Determined that the problem of formation of skill has a long history. Summarized that based on the works of Greek philosophers laid the scientific foundation for the developmtnt problems of formation of skills in the teaching of educational sciences. Investigated that spyholoho-pedagogical science is given great importance to the formation of a variety of skills and diversity of views of scientists on this issue. Hovewer, in our view, has not filed odobichnoho definition ofskill. Analyzing the scientific literature, we found that most povyazuyut scills with the ability to solve certain activities aimed at achieving a specific goal. On this basis we believe appropriate to consider skills as the ability to perform all the activities in accordance with the intended purpose. After making ability  ̶ an essential condition for preparing students for educational activities  ̶ profesiynoyi by establishing connection between theory and practice.
