It highlights effective methodological approaches that foster the development of critical thinking, creative abilities, and professional competence in higher education students. The study emphasizes that the main objectives of studying this component include equipping future literature teachers with knowledge of the theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching Ukrainian literature, understanding the structure and content of educational materials, and developing the ability to apply this knowledge in pedagogical practice. The study also underscores the acquisition of modern pedagogical technologies, the creation of personalized teaching methods, the design of innovative lesson technologies and authorial programs, and the development of foundational professional competencies in future literature teachers. Furthermore, it focuses on cultivating the ability to interpret literary works, assess their artistic uniqueness and aesthetics, and view the creativity of literary figures as an integral part of national cultural heritage.
The article examines effective methodological approaches that promote creativity, critical thinking, and professionalism. It notes that contemporary methods of teaching Ukrainian literature are based on a combination of traditional and innovative approaches, ensuring the effective acquisition of learning material by students. The key methodological approaches include competency-based, technological, and integrative strategies, along with interactive teaching methods, project-based learning, and practical activities. The research stresses that the methodology of teaching Ukrainian literature is a key component in the training of future language and literature teachers.
